Hi,
I am 28 years old and working as a consultant since 6 years. Almost 5 years with the current company.
I have been to the US 4 times in the past.
I have got visa twice once in 2005 (1 month) and another one in 2007 (5 years multiple).
Below is my US travel history:
2005 (1 month), 2007 (2 months), 2008 (1 month), 2011 (1 month).
I applied for my visa in 2014 as I wanted to attend some meetings with the client. My visa got rejected. While, my colleague who had no travel history and the same salary got the visa on the same letter.
In 2016, I applied for my visa as I wanted to visit my brother who is very ill. The officer said I realize and understand your reasons but you are not qualified for the visa.
Lately last week, my brother fainted and fractured his back bone and is hospitalized. I want to go and meet my brother as he is suffering from several other medical issues at the moment. My entire family has US visas and no one has ever violated the rules. I am really close to my brother and I really want to spend a week or so with him.
I wanted to know if I should apply this time and see if it works.
Things that have changed:
Before 2016: I was single, earning 1 lac Pakistani RS per month.
2017: I am married and earn 1 lac 70 thousand Pakistan RS per month. Traveled to Malaysia recently.
I really have no idea why they have been refusing my visa as I have a prior travel history and never overstayed in the past.
In the previous interviews, they asked me where I work and for how long. They asked my salary too.
