Hi. I filed a I-539 for a 6 month extension for our B2 visas a week before our I-94 exit date was due and have a letter from California stating this. We received a letter asking for more information and was given a date to respond by 6th July 2017. Our daughter was having problems and had her baby premature by a couple of months so rather than reply we left on the 5th July
We have just received a letter stating a notice of application is abandoned dated august 23rd 2017. Is our 10 year visa still valid as we applied for an extension before we had to leave, yet left before a response was required.
