B2 Visa Tourist for Housewife with Husband as Permanent Resident

Hi! My husband is a permanent resident since 2013.

Me and my 6yo stepson plan to visit and spend Christmas (his bday is on Christmas Eve) with him this year.
We have filed for a B2 visa (no petition initiated).

I am a housewife but I worked full-time for 7 years and had to stop working 2 years ago when my son was diagnosed with terminal illness.
We got married middle of the year of 2016.
Now my son is in remission and while he is doing good we would like to tour him in places he likes to go to in the US.

My husband sent his tax forms from 2014 and a copy of his green card to show proof that he can sponsor our trip on Christmas.
We have joint bank accounts and I have bank certifications of it.

What questions should I anticipate?

What are my chances of getting tourist visa and what documents should I have?
