Submit the documents 5 days earlier

My parents are attending to Visa interview at Chennai consulate. Don’t we need to drop the mentioned documents before 5 days prior to visa date at any VFS locations? Immihelp visitor documents section specifies it is only applicable to US consulate Mumbai only

that requirement is for Mumbai consulate and not for Chennnai

do i have to drop it in Delhi?

VFS site does not say to drop the docs in advance for Delhi consulate, so i think no need to send in advance
