Do not worry Harini. Ask your mom to be confident. Do not make her tensed. She will get visa.

      Hello Harini:

Don't you worry. Your mom will get the visa. Ours could've been a extreme case.

      Good Luck.

      Cheers.
      Uday.

There is no month is set apart for approval or denial. It all depends on how strong your case is.

            Hello Visachief

Go through my posting "parents visa rejected - word to word conversation of interview". Please let me know if we could have done any thing better.

            Regards,
            Chaitanya

              Question for VisaChief

Harini, I think I started to believe in your theory. Visas are getting rejected a lot in Chennai during May.

VisaChief: You mentioned that things have changed and that the process has changed. Why are we seeing so many rejections this month??? All of us read your previous posts when things were sort of hunky dory at Chennai consulate. So we are waiting for your feedback now!!! If you really have access to the inside information in consulates tell us why this is happening. At the least COs can stop being rude to parents. They are respectable people in society, not some criminals. If CO doesn't want to give them VISA so be it, at least be polite.

Uday: I think you should consider contacting your local senator and consulate general in Chennai. This is absolutely not acceptable!!!! I am so sorry your parents had to go through this
