Can friend be mentioned as Travel Companion Information in DS160

Hi,

I am an Indian and works in UAE. I am going to apply for B2(Tourist visa). I am single and earns around aed 5K. 4 years ago, when i was studying i applied tourist visa but it got rejected. This time, i dont want rejection. As i am single i am showing friend as my travel companion to make my application little strong. I have question, can friend show as travel companion in DS160 ?

I am thinking if VO asks i can explain that we will be travelling together from UAE to US for tourism.

Please suggest me if friend can be show as travel companion.

One information my friend VISA request was also rejected few years ago. He is also planning to reapply after sometime.

Yes, you can show a friend as a travel companion if that is really the case.

But that does not make your application any stronger.
