  • sponsor question

    Hello,

We are planning to bring my mother-in-law. I gave my name as a sponsorer in DS – 156. Do I need to so my wife’s employment paper? also Is it ok to mention that my wife is working in consulate letter? She started working late last year (got W2 for 2005) that is the reason I gave my name as sponsor. Please advice.

    Thanks

If u are the sponsor, no need of her emp. letter. If asked, u can say that ur income is more than ur wife's and she started working recently only and thats why u are sponsoring.

Thanks for your reply. Is it advisable to say my wife as partially dependent or dependent in I-134 (we both are in GC)?

          address

          Experts,
I have the following questions, Have appointment on June 20s:

          1) Is it ok to change the duration for the question "How long do you intent to stay" in DS156? - Q26
I have put 6 months, after reading many posts thinking to reduce to 3 or 4 months.

          2) Is the Home address has to be the same as one in passport? Q15. They have different address in the passport and living in different address.

          Thanks advance
