My mother in law is retired English teacher and a wheelchair bound Rheumatoid Arthritis patient.
My husband is her only son and she is separated from her husband. She does not own any property back in India and is currently leasing. She has a dog who and older, in poor health sister.
My husband and I are in USA on a temporary work visa which runs out in '19. While we are here we would love her to be able to come and visit USA on a short stay trip;
My husband would be her sponsor as she is solely dependent on him financially.
How do we make a compelling case for someone like her?
I understand the approval of B2 tourist visa will be very slim in her situation, would proof of social, ie., ongoing tuitions for kids, church, poorly sister and her own medical treatment ties back in India be sufficient to convince the interviewer that she really means Tourism/ short-stay only?
Has anyone had similar scenario and had their visa approved?
Thanks in advance
