what to provide in ds 156 in where you staying

Hi im a single guy in india.last time rejected badly cus i was applying for visitor visa and i only have a online friend there.i have applied again.now i i want to ask what address do i provide in the ds 156 in where you r staying.if i show a hotels address do i have to show i have booked the room.hows the procedure in that.

use your online friend's address if you are going to stay with her/him
make a reservervation in hotel and use that address if you are planning to stay in hotel
