Peculiar case - Need some advise

Hi All,

This query is for my friend. He was adopted and his passport has his adopted parents names. Now they are no more.

He wants to bring his own mom to US, but he cannot show any legal connection now as they he grew up in different house and with adopted parents. How can he bring his real mom to US now?

Can anyone advise?

Swetha,
I assume your friend is in US. Anybody from US can sponsor anybody as long they can explain the relationship, they dont have to be parents. Even friends can sponsor friends ... so need not worry.
