Reg. spouse status.

Hi Friends,

While sponsoring in laws, do we need to show spouse's income / bank statment? If no, do we need to show her as dependent / partially dependent? if no, could they (VOs) ask why your daughter is not sponsoring ? or something in ref. to daughter's income.

I am sponsoring my in laws and don't know whether i need to show my spouse as my dependent or not!. what is more beneficial!

If she is working, u can say she is partially dependant.

Yeah she is working but it is like self employment. We filled tax return together but otherwise we don't have any employment letter or pay stubs to show!

U don't have to show anything..Normally they don't ask..U will have some proof for the self employment. right?

Putting dependant or partially dependant has nothing to do with Visa approval.. so take it easy.
