Hi,
I am a Brazilian citizen living in Canada as a permanent resident. I need to get a B2 visa for a short trip to the US (will pick up a friend in Buffalo airport) but, at some point in the future, I'll travel with my family for leisure (wife + 17 yo stepdaughter + 4 yo daughter). They are also PR in Canada, but my wife currently does not have a job.
Would it make any sense for them to apply with me so we can easily demonstrate we have ties in Canada especially, MY job)? Or it would be simpler if I apply alone now and, when we decide to travel for vacations, I arrange a B2 for them?
My fear is that, if they apply alone later, it will be harder to get the visa or they could have it denied.
Does this make any sense, or perhaps I'm just over cautious?
Thanks!
