Visitor VISA to mother

I have a L1B visa valid until 2019 November and suddenly my company has asked me to travel to US alone but i want to take my mother with me as i am a single parent child.
Do i have a provision to get her a B2 visitor Visa and then take her along with me ? how many days it usually takes to get a VISA?

Also i need to apply passport for her . will the officials allow her to travel with me if she gets Visitor visa in a month?

I would not suggest that you apply for your mother's visa now while you are coming to US first time. If you have spouse you can apply for L2 visa immediately but will be difficult to get visitor visa for your mom. Once you settled in US after 6m. You can try for her visa.
