Who should sponsor?

I have a GC and working in US for the last 9 years. My brother in-law is working in US on L1 for the last 2 months. My in-laws wants to visit US and stay with my brother in-law for 6 months. Who should sponsor my in-laws?
Is it OK if I sponsor or my brother in-law should sponsor?
If we mention my address as place of staying in the application and if my in-laws stay with my brother-in law at different address, will there be any problems?
Should they visit us first?

I think u should sponsor instead of ur BIL as he may/does not have good financial to show that he can sponsor their trip.

Provide your address, if you are sponsoring. They can tell the POE officer if asked they will be visiting son first.
