Sponsor Requirements

Hello All

I have scheduled interview for my parents on November 14th & 15th 2017 B2 visa, I have chose to sponsor my parents and I have a question regarding the sponsor requirements, i know the minimum requirement is 5k per person . I have around 12k in account savings and salary of 80-88k annual income wanted to check if this is enough even if I have a dependant wife here with me in h4. Also I took a bank verification letter even though I have 12k as savings my average balance is
Bank 1 - Checking - average balance 2,100, Savings - average balance 4400
Bank 2 - checking - average balance 2100

Total balance would be like 13K

Should I be worried if my average is low even though my savings total is 12k? Is there any requirement for sponsor? Any answers are appreciated please help with your situations and how you managed.

13K savings is good enough. There is no specific requirements as long as you have enough fund which can support during their stay in US.

Thanks for your prompt response. I wanted to confirm If I am eligible for sponsoring with this amount. From your response I think I am good . Hoping for the best thanks again.
