Hi,
I have scheduled a visa interview for my parents on Oct 6,2006. That was the earliest available date when I looked for one a couple of weeks back. I was thinking of rescheduling it to an earlier date but saw the contradictory message in the VFS website about people having a confirmed date having to cancel their appointment before being allowed to reschedule.
But when I tried to reschedule without canceling the appointment, it does let me go to the reschedule page and displays the following message
'Once you select a date your previous interview appointment will be cancelled and your new appointment will be confirmed.
Carry your new appointment letter at the time of your interview.'
For the last week I have tried looking for an earlier appointment but see nothing. I am wondering if I dont see any earlier appointments because the system wants me to cancel the existing appointment before it will let me even see any earlier available dates.
Is this true? Do I need to cancel my existing appt before the system will show me an earlier appt? Or am I not seeing anything because of the heavy rush even though the system lets me reschedule without cancelling an existing appt? Can any of you please clarify? This will help me a lot to follow the proper procedure and hopefully get an earlier date.
