Passport getting expired

Hello All,

My husband's passport is getting expired on June20th. And my parents have got visa interview in the month of May.

Will the passport expiry cause any problem?

Also my in-laws visa got rejected in the month of April. When can they appear for visa for the second time. Is there any specific period we should follow before scheduling another interview?

Only applicant's passport should be valid for at least 6 months.

Think there is no definite rule to wait for certain time before applying for next time, expert’s advice to wait for ~6 months.

If you see a significant change in the status, since last rejection then I think you can go for next appointment

need urgent help-passport expiry-revalidation of visa

I need help badly...

1. Can my sister in India go to Mumbai and take the appointment for my revalidation of my H1 visa..She has the receipts of the hDFC bank...She did go today, but they say they I should do it online and Online there are no dates available for nov/dec...My ticket is already book..

Second..My passport is expiring in March 2007, so if I go for interview in mumbai tentatively in Dec, then my passport will not be valid till six months from Dec onwards...Is that a problem...

If not, then will it be a problem when I enter back in USA..Does USA custom require the passport to be valid than more than six months...

Third, How do I apply online for revalidation...I tried but no success..
Pls help....Highly tensed..as tickets are book..thank you

Whether you do it online or at the VFS center dates are same. btw: you qualify for emergency visa appointment, send a mail to VFS team explaing the situation they shld be able to help u.
