Visitor visa - need help

Hi all,
My parents has an appointment on 15th May. They personnaly submitted D-156 and D-157 forms with photographs at Mumbai consulate. Do they have to send other supporting documents prior to interview date?
They will be taking original documents with them on 15th May.
