Emergency appt in Delhi

I was in US for a change of status. I came to India for a family emergency. Now I need stamping in the passport. When I left US in January, I got an appt on May 10 at chennai consulate. Still I have not got my papers from my husband. My husband's graduation ceremony is on June 4. If I dont get my papers by May 10 can I book an emergency appt (for end of May) in Delhi, assuming I get my papers by the end of May?
Anybody who knows about this, kindly reply.
