  • Applying for B2

Hey! Just wanted some advice. I've just returned from two years living in America as an Au Pair (returned back to the UK in September) and I would like to travel America for about 5/6 months before moving onto Australia early next year. What is the likelihood of the visa being accepted? I didn't get much time to travel America as my family had me working long weeks but I have money saved to travel. And after 5/6 months in America, will move onto Australia with my working visa. Just wondered because obviously the embassy will see I worked/lived in America for two years until very recently.

    Thanks!

All applicants have a low chance of obtaining a B visa. That just par for the course

Is there anything I can do to help my chances? Like showing the person at the embassy a full travel plan and flights I would like to book from the US to Australia? Also, if the visa is denied, am I then denied all travel to the US? So I wouldn't be able to even get an ESTA? Thanks!

If you have a UK passport, you should apply for ESTA instead of applying for a B-2 visa at the consulate
