Is Original Birth Cerificate required..

I was just checking the documents for Visitor/Sponsorer and one of the things that was listed was..

1. Copy of Birth Certificate of Sponsor

Do we need to provide birth certificate of Sponsor & Applicant?

If you don't have original's then will an Affadavit, sufficient.

No need of applicants BC. If u don't have BC of the sponsor, an affidavit from parents/relatives will do

According to the consulate website, only original birth certificate is needed for the children of the applicant. If the sponsor is the child of the applicant then u need the birth certificate.

But say u are sponsoring your in-laws, then the birth certificate of ur spouse is needed PLUS the marriage certificate.

Applicants birth certificate is not necessary.
