Doubts Regarding US Visitor Visa

Hello

I am planning to apply for visitors visa to visit my daughter and my son in law.In DS 156 Form it is mentioned in One column whether you have any relatives i.e Brother or sister holding US permanent Resident or US Citizen.Actually my own younger brother is a US Citizen.Although we both had strained relationship and no touch for long time say for more than 15 years and also i am not aware where he is residing in USA.In this case should i mention about my brother status in the DS 156 Form?

Also if i mention what will be my chances of getting Visit visa?What impression will this create with Visa officer on issuuence if visit visa?Aa my fear is he/she might reject my visa that snice my brother is a USA Citizen this factor might cause doubt.

Please suggest me whether I should mention my brother status in the from DS 156 or just mention my Daughter status as Permanent Resident?

Please guide me in this issue.

I would suggest not to mention about your brother in USA.

Because the visa interviewer will ask where does your brother live, what does he do etc., for which you have no answer.
