Tax and Pension Statements of inlaws

Do we need to show income tax statements for Agriculture .My in laws have income from this ..And he is retired and he is getting pension but no written paperwork for that ..They are still under the process of that .But he is getting money on everymonth .So can we say that he is getting pension?
Please help me to answer ..I appreciate any kind of inputs ...
