Hotel booking.. B1/b2

I am filling the online DS160 form. I need some help on answering the following fields in the DS160:

1) Question in DS-160; Address where you will stay in US :
I am going for visit purpose. Is hotel booking necessary before interview. I don't want to make reservation. So what should I write in this field. Should I write any hotel name which im visiting but no booking ?

2) U.S Point of contact: Does I write same hotel address there ?

1. You should make a hotel booking that would not charge you anything if you cancel it sufficiently in advance and write that address.

When my family and I went on vacation, we pre-booked the hotel

USCIS clearly mentions that you should not book hotel/flights until you secure your visa. But you can book refundable tickets/hotels, if you want.
