Enter multiple times USA in the same year

Hello everybody,

A little question, to be sure, because I can't find the answer on Internet...

I have a VISA B2, and I want to go to USA from April to September in 2018.
But, I will go to Colombia in January-March. And the flights will pass by USA.

So my question is : "Can I pass 2 times in USA (go and back) for less than 24 hours, and still have the right to stay 6 months in May ?"

No alien has the "right to" enter or stay in the United States, regardless of the circumstances

That said, I don't think your transit to South America will have any prejudicial effect on your subsequent application for admission

However, six months is a very long stay, and you had better have a good explanation of your plans to justify your request

(why do you think I'm an alien, if so I would be in "area 51", already in USA )

Yes, I have a good reason to stay 6 months in USA : I will hike the Pacific Crest Trail, so I need 6 months

Thank you for your answer, it's way cheaper for me if I pass through USA
