  • Sponsership support, Urgent...plss

    Hi
My wife is pregnant with some complications so I requested for emergency appointment for visiting visa for my mother-in-law . They gave appointment on May 18th. Now my question is I am not sponsering my mother -in -law trip.( Because I am student). His husband is sponsering. What kind of documents I have to send. Do I need to fill ans send I-134. What kind of supporting documents my father-in-law should show and how much income he should show.
Please help me It is very Urgent. Please respond quickly.
    Thank you

Since you are not sponsoring you need not fill and send I-134. If you have atleast $5000 then you can sponsor in which case you will need to send I-134. 10k or more would be better. Anyway, it is difficult as a student.

To sponsor, your father in law will have to show as much as bank balance, property, bonds etc as he can. Typically from what I have read people show around 5-10 lacs of liquid assests. Both income and savings are important.

First the case will be scrutinized whether comes under emergency and if qualified financial capability will be determined.
