Travel through Europe to Mumbai during B2 Extension

Need help in understanding the below situation.

My mother had come to US and stayed with us for 6 months. At 4.5 months, we applied her extension for more 3 months. However result have not come yet (60 days passed from I-94 date). But now she has to go back to Mumbai by 18th January.
Can she travel through Europe stop (Paris or Amsterdam) airlines during her stay extension or B2 VISA extension?
How long can she stay in US before the result come out?

Need help to understand her situation and book the flight.
I-94 Date: 18th oct, 2017
Extension result: No result till today

Yes, she can pass through Europe, as long as she has a valid visa stamp.

She can stay until the decision comes or 240 days, whichever is earlier.
