Hi,
I am in California and working for a big MNC and my family and my Brother's family is in India.
My brother is running a small company in India and making around 80 lacs profit/year. He got B2 visa 2 years ago and he never came to USA, but he has travelled to Singapore and Dubai.
My brothers family(My Sister In-law and their 2 sons(12 years old and 6 years old)) wanted to come to USA for a trip and when they went for a VISA interview, they were asking for my brothers details and got rejected. They were told to bring the brother's documents and try next time.
Documents Carried :-
1) My Passport
2) My VISA stamping
3) My I797
4) My pay slips, Bank Statements and Employment Letter
5) Cover Letter & Invitation Letter
6) DS-160 for all
7) Appointment confirmation
Questions asked :-
1) Passport & Visa of my Brother
2) Why my brother did not travel to USA?
3) His company documents
Doubts :-
1) What are the documents to be carried next time?
2) How soon they can go for the interview next time? Is it good to appear in a month time?
3) Do we need to carry any letter from school to prove that they study over there?
4) Anything else to be prepared?
5) Is it difficult in this case?
6) Where can i see the rejection reason?
7) When i fill DS-160 next time, Do I need to tell that it was rejected already and What reason to put over there?
8) When i filled the DS-160 last time, i put that my sister-in-law is house wife, but she is kind of working in my brothers company and getting salary.
Do i need to mention this next time? Will it be a problem? Will it help if they carry this document also next time?
9) They want to visit USA during the summer. Can they appear for the VISA interview by Jan 2018? Any pointers please ....
Thanks
