Hi,
I have a valid B1 visa stamped on my expired passport. Unfortunately I left that expired passport back in my home country, while relocating to a different country.
I need to travel to US on a business trip, from my current country. Couriering the passport to my current address is not allowed due to strict international guidelines and neither is someone else authorized to carry my expired passport. I cannot travel to my country to get the passport since the timelines for travel to US are short.
In this case, can I apply for a new B1 visa using my current active passport? Will my older B1 visa be cancelled if a new visa is issued?
