Does US Travel Docs page automatically update with the receipt number after payment?

I am trying to book an appointment for B1/B2 visa for my parents. They have paid the fees of $320 at Axis bank and have the receipt. I am not sure if I should wait for the us travel docs page to update with the receipt number or enter it manually to go ahead and book an appointment.

Is it supposed to update online automatically?
