How long it takes to get passport after Visa approval

How long it takes to get the passport back once visa has been approved. My parents wants to block the tickets based on that.

Normally between 3-5 days

Can we wait and collect the visa

Can we wait there until evening or next day and collect the passport after visa stamp?

It may take a day or 2 for the consulate to give the passport to VFS. U can get that tracking done on VFS site. ON the day VFS gets the passport, u can collect it between 4.00-6.00PM from VFS.
