  • Suggestion requested for B2 Visa

    Hi

Last year I applied from Dubai after completion of my 7 months stay.(I went for 2 yrs contract job ; but without completing came back to India on my 10 months completion, due to my mother-in--law's health status) My visa was rejected due to 'no tie up to come back to that country".
It was my stupidity that, I applied from another country.

Now from delhi I am applying again after 5 months, with my husband( it's first time for him, who works with xxxx embassy). we are married for 26 yrs and living together in our own house, now would like to visit my son (who is on F1 visa and working) for 2 months.

Kindly advise any tips, to correct myself and convince the VO

    Thank you in advance.

Carry photocopies of your son's F1 visa and I-20. Also ask him to write you a letter inviting you to visit him.

Carry evidence of employment (payslips, letter from company approving your leave and confirming your employment).

Carry bank statements to prove you have enough liquid cash to afford your travels.

Carry evidence of property owned, if any. If not, carry rental agreement and a letter from your landlord stating how long you have been living at this residence.

Carry letter of rejection from previous application and any other rejection letters from other countries.

You may not even need to show your documents, but carrying documents in an organized folder is good practice and can save your application from getting rejected if the visa officer is not fully convinced and wants to see supporting documents.

They have all the records, you don't need any letter.
