Hello
We plan to ask a B1 visa for my Ukrainian gf in Kiev. I'm not US citizen. I'm french and live in France. She works and live in Ukraine. I would pay for the trip. I understood however that the visa should be based on her own merits and not me. I also have been told that it's pointless to provide an invitation letter stating that we would travel together and that I would pay for the trip as they rarely look the documents you bring.
But on the DS160 form should I mention that i travel with her and pay for the trip ?
She has a monthly salary of about 432$. She is a pharmacist representative for a well known british pharmaceutical company. I would put beforehand a regular little sum so she can prove on the day of interview she has savings to pay for the trip in any case. If they look the documents of course.
She took her last job recently and had multiple experience I don't know if it influences stronger ties. However she is born and got her diploma in 2012 in lugansk where is war now. But she works and lives in the capital for years. I don't know if it can have a negative effect. At least not for schengen visas.
She has many stamps from far countries (Singapore, Thailand, Brazil, Argentina..) along with past schengen visas when it was not visa free yet.
What else except job ties can she bring ? She also use a car company.
I am travelling with her and I am not US citizen so maybe it's less a problem for the agent that she could immigrate.
What are her chances ?
Thanks for the help.
