  • Second trip US tourist visa was rejected?

    Hi all friends,

    Please help me.

    I am a Singapore permanent resident from Burma citizen (Myanmar).
    My boyfriend is US Green card holder Burma citizen too. He had been living in US for more than 17 years.
    The first time, I apply for B2 tourist was approve and very easy. That time I was a Single lady and I visited to US from 30 April 2017 to 29 Oct 2017 (6months).
    During I am living in US for 6 months, we are getting closer and closer and happily married on 9 of May 2017.
    After that I returned to Singapore for my workforce.

    Now I wanted to apply it again for US Tourist visa for second trip in Singapore.
    My visa was rejected, reason being section 214(b).

    1. Interview day : 9 Feb 2019
    2. the purpose of visit in the form: I want to see my husband
    3. the duration of visit in the form : 3 months
    4. all applied : Me only
    5. mentioned as paying for the trip in the form : Me
    6. My income roughly : $4000/month
    7. I intended to travel day is on May 2018.

    You are married to a US Green Card holder and will most likely no longer have the option to come to the US on a visitor visa. It is highly suspect that you will stay and need to follow the proper channels to achieve this. You need to look at the sponsorship and petitioning options for a US Green Card holder, sponsoring a spouse.

      Mine is still single in Singapore, my status was not update yet in Singapore.

      My boyfriend's status was Case Is In Line For An Interview scheduling process for Application for Naturalization.

      i would like to apply B2 tourist visa as a single lady and whether can i have a visa chance?

        Here is my question again, I am still single in Singapore, my status was not update yet in Singapore.

        My husband was case in line for interview process for application for Naturalization.

        I would like to apply it again B2 Tourist visa while i was still as a single lady.

        Likely to have a chance for B2 visa for second trip?

          Also, B2 is not a visa for dependent - you'll need to apply for GC as dependent on your husband.

              Case In Line for interview (N400)

              Hi all,

              Is there anyone know how long take to get his naturalization interview appointment notification ?

              My husband Case Is In Line For An Interview( N400).

              Application date: 30 May 2017.
              Fingerprint date : 29 June 2017
              Case in line for interview :10 July 2017

              He is from San Francisco California.
