I have a B2 ten years visa. i am trying to swicth in US to F1 visa. If i dont have the response of USCIS before the expiration of my I 94, can i have problems to re enter the next time? For the extension if USCIS denied , the ten years visa is no more valid and the owner must apply for another visa, it is the same thing for the change of status?

it is not true

your B2 is still valid, it does not matter whether USCIS rspond or not.

you can extend I-94 or go out of country and come back, or can get F1 visa stamped when ur outside the USA when paper work come through
