overstay in usa

Hi,
I was overstayed in usa for 2 years , from 1993 to 1995. I used a student visa but never attend a college in usa. Now I want to apply for a tourist visa, will the embassy know that I had overstayed long time ago ?
And do u think embassy will reject my visa ?

Yes, they can find out abt ur overstay. They can deny Visa on that too..
