Name in Passport and B1/B2 is different

Hello All,

Need inputs on the below issue.

I do not have a Surname as per my passport and it is Blank in field SURNAME. But in B1/B2 visa which I hold my name is mentioned under Surname and Given name is blank. I will be travelling to USA on a pleasure trip next month. And this is my second trip to USA before it was a Business visit. Will that be a problem considering Surname in Passport and in B1/B2 visa.

Seems like you used this visa earlier also - if so, you won't have any problem.

Ideally while filling up form for visa people put FNU (First name unknown) or LNU (Last name unknown) & get it printed in visa - to avoid any issues.

Since in your case both passport & visa not showing anything is okay.
