visiting the US again?

I have a 10year B1/B2 visa whice was issues in January 2006. I visited the US in March for three weeks. I am considering visiting again in July for two weeks.

Can you advise whether there is a restriction on my returning for a holiday for the second time in 1 year.

well, there is no such restricion, but 6-months gap between visits is preferred.
If you can explain the valid reasons for early re-entry at POE, then you shld be good

Is there really any validity to this "keep a 6 month gap" rule? Especially if the travel is for business? There can be legitimate requirement for frequent US visits. This is precisely why a Multiple Entry visa is given. Probably it is harder to convince the POE officer that you are coming back for frequent holidays, but frequent business visits are perfectly legitimate.

THERE is no 6 mth gap required....of cours eif you com every often then the officer might ask why? you simply tell him why you're here. The're business poeple who travel once a month. Trust me, they're trained enough to flush out suspicious activity
