How Important is Visitor's income

Hello!

My parents applied for visitor visa twice and both times they got rejected. My dad is working and also i have a brother studying in India to show ties in India but both times the last questions before rejection were:

1st time:
wot is ur annual income

2nd time:
how many people are working in ur company.

A frnd told us that we need to show atleast 3-4 lakh. of income in india to get a visitor visa.

Is this true? should we arrange to file more taxes and show more income?

As long as you are sponsoring them, it does not really matter what their income is.

However, consular officer is free to ask whatever questions they want to. There is really no set standard regarding minimum income required.
