  • Indian Expat in Dubai Applying for a B2 visa. NEED Help!

    Hi all,

I am a 28 year old working in a bank in Dubai (on a third party visa deployed to work in a bank)

I wish to go to New York over the year end for a week break. (no intention of staying there at all)

My wife and an 18 month old son live in India in a property that I own.

I earn about 10k AED a month on an average including incentives, however the fixed salary is only 4500 which is mentioned in the Salary Certificate. is that going to be a problem?

I have travel history - been to Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore earlier, all on short vacations in the last 5 years.

The above mentioned countries visa and Entry-Exit stamps are in my old passport which is in India.

I changed my passport to add my wife's name before coming to the UAE.

I need some recommendations and suggestions for below Please? :

    1. Can I Use my old Passport's Photocopies to prove my travel history?
    2. What other documents to carry during interview?

What are my chances of getting the visa?

    Kindly assist..

As long as you have a documented income, it is fine, no matter whether it is salary or not.

You can try the photocopies but originals would be better.
