Sponsoring friend for one week

Do I need to complete the Affidavit of Support form (I-134) if I want to sponsor a friend from Pakistan to visit me for only one week? I prefer not documenting all of my personal financial information on it.

There is no such a thing like "sponsoring" a tourist visa. Each applicant must qualify by their own merits. Don't waste your time, look at it this way:

When somebody goes to the consulate and apply for a tourist visa they have to show strong ties to their home country, the ability to support themselves and enough reasons to return after a short visit.

An affidavit of support doesn't tell the officer that the applicant has the ability to even cover their own expenses, being a friend would look even worst.
And finally from the legal perspective I-134 is not enforceable for non-immigrant visas.
