parents got visa

Very glad to share this news with all of u. My parents had their interview in chennai consulate and 10 yr visa has been granted. None of the documents were checked.

following questions were asked

1.How many children do u have ?

2.What r they doing ?

3.when was the last time u saw ur daughter?

4.what is ur annual income?

5.Does ur daughter send any money to u ?

6.Since how long has she been in US.

What did your parents say for the question, what is your annual income?? I am asking this because recently, one of my friend's mom's visa was rejected when she said their annual income was 2 lakhs..

In our case, we were sponsoring the trip and my father is retired. He mentioned whatever his pension income was including all the bank interst that he gets and it is less than 2 lakhs.

He has property and aslo bank deposits.So, i think the annual income did not matter.

It is not just annual income, it goes with other assets for calculation
