Last name mismatch between my passport and Parents passport

Hi,

I have situation ,

From my childhood my surname was not written completely on all certificates in English. My surname in my certificates is just written as "Y".

My family Surname is Yxxxxa. Some how and some where i started writing my surname as Yxxxxe . Now every where my surname is Yxxxxe. its been like this from 11-12 years. I never worried about it.

My parents surname on their passport is written as Yxxxxa. On my passport their surname is written as Yxxxxe.

Now I am sponsoring my parents for US visitor visa.

do i need to submit a form for this? Appreciate any inputs on this.

You can change surnames in indian passport. Go to passport office and they will do in 2 weeks.
