You don't sponsor someone who applies for a B2 tourist visa. They have to apply and attend the interview using their own merits.

It is often hard for people to get a visa for this, but it's not impossible. Your cousin should definitely keep the wedding invitation, this shows a valid reason as to why they wish to visit the United States. They will also have to prove substantial ties to their own country through things such as school identification cards, ownership of property/vehicles, letter from employer etc.

The onus is on those applying for these visas to prove their nonimmigrant intent, as immigration officers are required to assume everyone applying for a visa is attempting to come to the US to stay. The more evidence of ties to their home country, the better.
