B2 Visa expiring

Hi,
My mom's is on 10 year B2 visa, and her I-94 is expiring, I am planing to take her to London for couple of weeks and come back to US so that she gets fresh I -94 card.

Any body done this before??

She may not get additional period even if she gets new I-94 card,
If you want her to stay for more time, apply for extension
