  • Travelling for second time to US with B2 visa

    Hi,

My mother travelled earlier to US with B2 in 2012 and at that time I was in CompanyA and was in US with H1B (Charlotte). She returned back in 2 months. Now I am in a different company and will be travelling shortly with H1B shortly. I am planning to take her with me when I travel, as I am travelling with a one year old. Her B2 is valid till July 2012 and her age is 63 now. Can she travel with the same visa again and since I am the one who initiated the procedure for B2 for her, is it ok if I travel with her (i.e., I am not already in US). The reason for this question is, I have read in some blog earlier that if Visitors are travelling along with their son/daughter, they might be rejected in the port of entry. Is that the case? Can she just get a Air ticket and travel or any additional procedures needed? Please post if any clarifications needed as well.

    Regards,

All the visitor needs is a valid US visa. They can travel with whoever and whenever.
Just an opinion; Not legal advice.
