  • B-2 Tourist Visa - A Hopeless Cause?

First, let me say applying for a K-1 or CR-1 visa is not possible for a number of reasons. If she applies for the B-2 visa, the following, confirmed by documents,is true:

Age: 34 year old filipina female
    Marital status: Single
Owns and lives in the same property in Manila
Has a 13-old daughter and 69 year old mother, both living with her
Has a 4-year college degree in business[Tourism and Hospitality Management]
Has no history of prostitution, drugs or other criminal activity

I would be her sponsor - a U.S. citizen with a six-figure income, plus I own properties in the U.S. and Thailand [all verifiable with documentation]

I would appreciate any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, warnings, etc. to increase her chances of getting that visa

      A full-time student can't work

If she had a job, which employer would let her take 6 months off to visit the U.S., not to mention the time off for the visa interview?

It may be a long shot, but she has nothing to lose in applying for a tourist visa other than the $160 MRV fee
