  • Person/Entity Paying for your Trip in DS 160 form

My in-laws are planning to apply for B2 visitor visa. They both are currently employed. So is it good to put self for Person/Entity Paying for your Trip in DS 160 form? Is there any advantage in that? Also do I need to put only my father-in- law as the Person/Entity Paying for your Trip in both forms? Since both are working do I need to put self in both forms?

If the visitor is able to pay for the expenses on their own, it is always the best to put that.

Self sponsor is the best (mother paying for herself). However if father have better bank balance, he can also pay for it - not a big impact.
