My parents are planning to visit me and my wife from India. Since my bank balance is not really great , I filled the DS-160 forms for them as self sponsored. My dad is a government employee earning Rs.95,000 per month ( 4 years left for retirement) and mother is earning Rs 70,000 per month ( 8 years left for retirement ). They have balance of around 20l in bank account and also other investments. What are their chances on the interview? And for their interview what are the documents they need to take? I am thinking of the following
1) Salary slip of the last 6 months for both
2) Last 2 years income tax statement
3) Employment letter from their respective work place.
4) Copies of savings certificates/ Fixed deposits (totaling around 10L) .
5) Copies of their passbooks.
6) Documents of the house that they own.
7) No Objection Certificates from their respective workplaces.
8) Aadhar, PAN, Ration and Election cards.
9) My birth certificates ( I read this somewhere. Not sure about this though)
10) Copy of my passport, H1B Visa and I797
Are these documents enough for the interview? Any help would be great.
