Some Questions regarding Visitor Visa for my Mom.

Hi all,

My husband is sponsoring my mom for a Visitor Visa.

I have taken the date of interview online thru VFS site.

Now the next step they say is to inform the Embassy where ur interview is scheduled but when my mom called the Embassy(New Delhi) they told her its not necessary and they will get the info on the same day as the interview is scheduled.

Q1.. Is it really necessary to confirm the appointment by calling the Embassy where the interview is scheduled (as the VFS Site says)?

Q2.. My husband works as a consultant on corp to corp so I dont have the pay stubs to show?( Can the Contract with the client be shown as the evidence of his daily rate/income? Also can the bank account statement for the Corporation/Business Account be shown)

Also he worked on a peranent job basis untill Mar 06 ..So I have the pay stubs for that period, can they be shown??

Q3.. We moved to US from Canada a year ago so I only have the Tax return for last year. Should i show the Canadian tax returns for the last couple of years??
